What’s on the WPT Season 23 Schedule

Season 22 wrapped in Las Vegas at Wynn in December with Scott Stewart taking down the third annual $10,400 buy-in WPT World Championship for $2.5 million. He beat a field of 2,392 entrants, one of the largest $10k’s in poker history. But although Stewart is probably still on Cloud Nine celebrating his life-changing win, it’s time to turn the page and move on to Season 23.

Cambodia’s NagaWorld Integrated Resort will be the first destination for 2025 World Poker Tour action. The $1,100 buy-in WPT Prime Cambodia runs Feb. 14-18, and then will be followed by WPT Cambodia Feb. 19-24, a $3,500 buy-in Main Tour championship event.

The season will include stops in three other continents (Europe, Australia, North America), making it a true “World” Poker Tour. Next up will be WPT Prime Cyprus at the Chamada Prestige Hotel & Casino. The $1,100 buy-in tournament runs from March 13-17.

“With the arrival of the new year, we look ahead to the 23rd season of the World Poker Tour,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “Poker players, globally, can mark their calendars for some amazing WPT festivals to come in the first half of 2025.”

Northern California, more specifically the Sacramento area, will then play host to the WPT Rolling Thunder, an annual $3,500 Main Tour event at Thunder Valley Casino Resort (March 16-19). That tournament will be followed by a trip Down Under (Australia) March 21-26 for the AUD $2,000 WPT Prime Gold Coast at The Star Gold Coast casino.

The first half of the schedule will then conclude back in the United States with two popular annual stops starting with the $3,500 buy-in WPT Seminole Hard Poker Showdown from April 4-8 in South Florida. WPT Choctaw in Durant, Oklahoma will close things out prior to the summer with a $3,800 buy-in tournament May 2-5.

ClubWPT, ClubWPT Gold, and WPT Global will offer online poker satellites throughout Season 23 to various live World Poker Tour events.
