PokerStars Italy Integrates Sisal Players with Shared Network and Announces Major Tournaments | iGaming Future

Must read

PokerStars, a leading name in the igaming industry, has started integrating Sisal’s Italian poker players onto its platform. This move, part of an ongoing strategy by PokerStars’ parent company, Flutter Entertainment, allows Sisal’s players, currently on the iPoker network, to join the shared PokerStars network alongside PokerStars.IT players. The transition is expected to create a larger player pool and more exciting opportunities for the Italian poker community.

Sisal players will experience a seamless migration from their current platform to the Sisal-branded PokerStars site. The changeover is designed to be smooth, as players will retain their existing account management systems, ensuring continuity in their gaming experience. However, once logged in, they will be placed on the shared PokerStars network, which is known for its extensive game offerings and strong player protections.

This integration brings several new features to Sisal’s players, enhancing their poker experience. They will now have access to PokerStars’ vast selection of events, including popular tournaments such as the Sunday Million, Winter Series, Micro Millions, and the SCOOP/ICOOP Majors. In addition, Sisal players can participate in weekly tournaments like the Night On Stars, Bigs, Hots, and Bounty Builders. They will also be eligible to qualify for live events, including those hosted at the recently launched PokerStars poker room at Casinò di Campione.

A highlight of the integration is the €12 million guaranteed Winter Series, which will include the €1.5 million guaranteed Sunday Million – the largest single tournament guarantee ever organized by PokerStars.IT. The timing of the integration ensures that Sisal players will be able to participate in this prestigious series, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.

Looking ahead, Sisal players will also gain access to new products such as Power Path, which allows players to win their way to some of PokerStars’ renowned live events. Additionally, the launch of Home Games for Sisal players is planned for the first half of 2025.

This move marks a significant development in the igaming industry, providing Italian players with a broader selection of games and tournaments while enhancing the shared liquidity across the PokerStars network. As the integration progresses, both Sisal and PokerStars players stand to benefit from a stronger, more connected online poker community.
