The chips were flying in the 13th season of High Stakes Poker and PokerGO recently offered up a video showing off the top 10 biggest pots of the season. The action included some big personalities, six-figure pots, massive coolers, and much more.
One of the biggest hands saw Sameh Elamawy, the CEO of Scratch Loan Services who was involved in plenty of massive pots this season, get all the chips in with A K against Andrew Robl’s pocket kings. After seeing a five-bet from Elamawy, Robl shoved and received a call.
“Please poker gods,” Robl prayed as he waited to see the board. He was a 70% favorite, but an ace came right on the flop. Robl has been one of the biggest winners in live-streamed cash games, but this pot of almost $1 million went to his opponent.
In another highlight, Nikhil ‘Airball’ Arcot mixed it up with Stanley Tang. Arcot saw his Q J catch a flush on a flop of K 4 3 against Tang’s pocket aces. Arcot slow-played his hand well and eventually raked a pot of more than $431,000.
Another Arcot hand saw him make a great fold on the river with trips against Elamawy’s full house. He dodged a bullet, but Elamawy was able to drag a pot of more than $500,000.
Tang saw his pocket aces cracked again in another highlight in a hand against Justin Gavri, who caught a set of sixes in a multiway pot. This time Tang made a nice fold on the flop, avoiding a big loss. Humboldt Mike wasn’t so lucky and couldn’t get away from his pocket 10s, losing his entire stack in a pot of just under $500,000.

High Stakes Poker debuted in 2006 and has featured some of the biggest names in the game including Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, Sammy Farha, Phil Laak, Jennifer Harman, Barry Greenstein, Mike Matusow, and numerous others.
During the poker boom of the 2000s, viewers became fascinated with the action that featured bricks of cash on the table and commentary from the likes of Gabe Kaplan and A.J. Benza. Even comedian Norm Macdonald hosted the show for one season. Millions of dollars have been exchanged at the table since, and the series should be back for another season in 2025 with high-stakes pro Nick Schulman continuing his role in the commentary booth.
The original series aired on the Game Show Network through 2011 from the Golden Nugget, Palms, and South Point casinos. PokerGO revived the show in 2020 from the network’s studio at Aria in Las Vegas.
