Suzanne Louise (Dziuba) Jackson, 87, died Tuesday, November 19, 2024, surrounded by loved ones in Naples, FL. She was born on October 8, 1937, in York, PA, the daughter of Francis and Evelyn Martin.
She was the wife of Earl Jackson. They were married on September 19, 1992, in Nahant, MA.
Suzanne attended St Thomas HS in Ann Arbor MI, and Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. She later attended a medical technical school and became a Surgical Technician from 1958 – 1962 at St John’s Hospital in Detroit, MI, and from 1968-1970 at Union Hospital in Lynn MA. She worked as an administrator at Friedman Atherton in Boston, MA from 1970-1973 and began working in property management in 1973. She joined Crowninshield Management in 1978, rising to VP of Property Mgt. She went on to become President and Owner of Reliant Security Services in 1983. In 1985, she accepted a position as Regional Director of Property Mgt at First Realty, where she retired in 1999. In 1972, she worked on the George McGovern presidential campaign in Massachusetts, one of only two states that Mr. McGovern won. In 1973, she hosted Joe Crecca, a Vietnam War POW and hero, for a week in her home. During her life, she lived in Detroit, MI, Ottawa, Canada, Marblehead, MA, Lynn, MA, Peabody, MA, Salem, MA, Hollis, NH, Boynton Beach, FL, and Naples, FL.
In addition to being a loving mother to 2 children, Suzanne was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed crafts, taking pictures of her family, the beach, traveling, shopping, entertaining family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. Among the many places she visited she loved China, London, Paris, Nice, Italy, and Alaska. Suzanne was very generous and loved to give gifts. When spending time at her home in Leisureville, Boynton Beach, she was very active in clubs including Wagon Wheels, Wildflowers, and numerous Bridge clubs.
Suzanne will be greatly missed by her son Michael Dziuba and his wife Stephanie Dziuba of Naples, FL, her daughter Jennifer Dziuba, and her husband Mike Foley of Onset, MA, her grandchildren Sarah Dziuba, Matthew Dziuba, Michael Dziuba, Nick Dziuba, Max Leatherman, and Jack Leatherman. She is survived by her brother Gary Martin of Lorain, OH, and his three children Justin Martin, Jeremy Martin, and Elizabeth Huitt. Also, by her cousin George Hart and his wife Kelsey Hart of Boynton Beach, FL, and their son Alex Hart. She touched the lives of many and we are all lucky to have known her.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held 10 am to 12 pm on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St, Nashua, NH, 03064. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12 pm. A procession will be led to St Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis St., Nashua, NH, for the Committal Service. Friends and family are invited to attend.
