WME Fashion Is Leaving Focus & Australian Fashion Week

WME Fashion is re-orienting for the future. In a new announcement from president Susan Plagemann, the group—owned by Endeavor—will no longer be sponsoring Australian Fashion Week, according to Puck. Additionally, the brand will be “spinning off” Focus, which produces the majority of New York Fashion Week’s top runway shows—though the company is set to be independently relaunched by Dominic Kaffka in 2025. The news coincides with 10 staff layoffs, following the company’s first layoffs earlier in 2024. Puck further states that the loss of Focus indicates Plagemann’s focus on WME’s main portfolio of talent representation, particularly as the company owns IMG Models, The Wall Group, and Art + Commerce.
