The Charity Series of Poker will be in Las Vegas, Nevada once again, and this time the festivities will take place on Dec. 4 with the Betting On Miracles event that will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The tournament will be hosted at CSOP mainstay the Stirling Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.
There will be a cocktail hour that kicks off the evening at 5:30 pm, and that is also when the silent auction will begin. Anyone is welcome to attend the cocktail hour and silent auction for $100 without participating in the tournament. Attire for the evening is business casual.
After that comes the main event of the night, the charity poker tournament. The turbo-structured event begins at 7:00 PM, and features $5,000 in cash and over $9,000 in donated prizes in the prize pool. The $300 buy-in tournament also includes unlimited $100 re-buys and add-ons for purchase (10,000 chips per re-buy, and 20,000 chips per add-on) until registration closes. There will be plenty of other final table and silent auction prizes up for grabs as well.
Established in 2014, the Charity Series of Poker is a nonprofit company founded to organize and promote charity poker tournaments and other events that raise money and awareness for worthy charities and causes. Poker professional Matt Stout is the founder and president of the CSOP. This upcoming event will be the 76th stop for the series as it continues a strong lineup of events spanning many years.
Regarding this upcoming event, the CSOP website offered the following additional info:
“Founded over 40 years ago with the mission to Change Kids’ Health, Change the Future, CMN Hospitals has raised over $9 billion for 170 children’s hospitals. Your donations help fund critical life-saving treatments, innovative research, essential pediatric medical equipment, and child life services that comfort kids and families during challenging hospital stays.”
