Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah on Saturday (2 November) won the best actress in a leading role for her performance in the movie “Red Carpet” at this year’s Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAAs) in Lagos, Nigeria.

Jackie faced tough competition from Girley Jazama, Oyin Oladejo, Unati Faku, Uzoamaka Aniunoh, Laura Pepple and Ife Irele.

Red Carpet features an array of celebrated Ghanaian actors like Kalsoume Sinare, Adjetey Annan, Roselyn Ngissah, Okawa Shaznay, Juliet Ibrahim, and Nigerian Actor, Deyemi Okanlawon.

Popular Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rude Boy, has joyously announced the arrival of his first child with wife Ivy Ifeoma, a baby girl named Imani Ugomma Okoye.

The couple kept the news private for over a month before sharing their happiness with fans.

On Thursday, Paul posted a heartfelt video on Instagram celebrating Imani’s arrival, featuring touching moments of the family bonding with their new addition.

Regina Daniels revealed that her mother and family were initially against the union.
