Bobrisky rushed to hospital due to pains in ‘breasts’

Controversial Nigerian transgender socialite  Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been hospitalised after reportedly complaining of severe “breast” pain while in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.

After spending the night in a police cell, Bobrisky was transported to Falomo Police Hospital for urgent medical care.

According to Vanguard, a source within the FCID confirmed the incident, revealing that Bobrisky was transferred to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance.

“Bobrisky complained of ‘breast’ pain and was rushed to the Police Hospital in the Falomo area of Lagos around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance with the plate number LND 339L. He wore a black gown, covered his face with a shawl, and lay down in the ambulance,” the source said.

The trip was described as a strategic move to avoid public scrutiny, particularly as the Commissioner of Police overseeing the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) had planned to transfer Bobrisky to his command.

Concerned about media attention, authorities arranged for a police ambulance, with an alternative plate number, LLD 339LP.

Nadia Buari explains why she ventured into movie production (VIDEO)

Known for her roles as wealthy daughters and “sweet girl” characters, Nadia has recently ventured into production to expand her creative boundaries.

In an appearance on TV3’s The Afternoon Show on Wednesday, 23 October 2024, Nadia said: “I got into movie producing because I felt I wasn’t challenged enough.

Every time I got a script, it was either a lover girl or I was after somebody’s boyfriend, and I just got tired of that.”

She further explained her frustration with the industry’s narrow casting scope, noting her love for thriller and horror genres, areas she felt were unexplored in her acting career.

Reflecting on her decision, Nadia added, “I felt I had too many stories, so I felt if I ventured into production, I could play the characters I wanted.”

Her first production, Imogen Brown, which she directed herself, proved challenging. As a result, she decided to entrust directing to her brother in her subsequent projects.

Since stepping into production, Nadia has produced four films, giving her the freedom to create and portray diverse characters.
