Everton ace Branthwaite fitness news shared for Ipswich clash

Must read

Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite could return for the Ipswich Town clash on 19 October if his injury is a mild one, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the best way to deal with his minor thigh setback would be to allow it to calm down and then see the mobility.

Sean Dyche himself admitted [5 October] that his thigh injury wasn’t too serious so he could be in contention to play at Portman Road.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Branthwaite: “The best way to deal with it is firstly to allow it to calm down and then gradually test mobility, strength and sport-specific activities while being very cognisant of pain and dysfunction levels.

“If it’s truly a mild issue on his thigh, you could see him back post the international break but it’s unsure of the minutes he’ll be ready to play.

“That would depend on how he trains over the coming week.“

Jarrad Branthwaite’s return is a huge boost for Everton

The English centre-back was one of the best defenders in the Premier League last season and his absence has been felt at Goodison Park.

Dyche’s side have shipped in plenty of goals this term and with a fully fit Branthwaite, it is unlikely to be the case.

Hopefully, his injury issues are behind him and he’ll be ready to have a stellar end to the year and an impressive season ahead.

In other Everton news, the agent of a first-team player has confirmed that his client who’s on 57k/week wages at Goodison Park could leave in January.
