NM Bratislava 2024: Quick Overview
The NM Bratislava 2024 kicked off on March 11 at the Card Casino in Bratislava, Slovakia. The championship ran for over two weeks as an “open to all” event. During this time, a variety of online poker games were played, including No-Limit Hold ’em and Pot-Limit Omaha. The final tournament was played on March 24.
More than 40 tournaments were played in the North Masters. The highlight was the Poker North Masters Main Event, which had a prize pool of €500,000. Other side events included Turbo No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, and more.

Top Performers and Notable Highlights
Besides the winners in general, several players performed well across several tournaments. Experts from toppcasinonorge.com, which specializes in online gambling and poker, shared with us the Top Performers and Notable Highlights of the tournament. Thor William Holm Morstol from Norway had a notable run. He came in second place at the 8-Game Mixed event. Remember that he is currently ranked 54th on Norway’s All-Time Money List.
Tobias Napel from the Netherlands also did well at the Poker North Masters. He finished 4th in the H.O.R.S.E event. He missed the 3rd spot by less than 4 points. The same can be said for Erling Ellingsberg. With 34.47 points at Pot Limit Omaha, he won $2,014 even after securing the 4th spot.
Oystein Bakke from Norway had a strong showing, too. He came in 4th place at the No Limit Hold’em High Roller 8 Max Turbo event. He earned nearly 70 points, which is impressive. Norwegian players consistently performed well in most NM Poker 2024 events. For instance, Morten Klein took second place in the No Limit Hold’em—8 Max High Roller Championship and Jan Svendsen came in third. Similarly, at the Pot Limit Omaha—High Roller 8 Max event, a poker player from Norway claimed the second spot.
There were even more events where players from Norway stood out. In the Pot Limit Omaha event, 13 of the top 14 winners were from Norway. In the Open Face Chinese event, 5 out of the top 7 winners were also Norwegian.
