Yoane Wissa could return vs Manchester United
Ahead of Brentford visiting the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday, Frank has been giving team news and updates on the fitness of his team with one player now close to returning.
The Bees have been without Yoane Wissa for three games, but as Frank explains, he could make his return this weekend.
While giving team news on Thursday, Frank said to club media: “Everyone who was available for the last game is available for this one as well. Touch wood, everyone is fit and healthy.
“Wissa is training on the grass with the team which is positive. I need to find out if he is ready for Saturday or if it is too soon.”
This return will be huge for Brentford as he is their main scoring threat after Ivan Toney’s £400k-a-week summer exit to Saudi Arabia – however, for United’s defenders, having to face Wissa is far from ideal.

For Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt, this return for Wissa is badly timed, in a game when they will have wanted an easy outing to refind form after how terrible they were against Porto.
But this is not how things have panned out and in Wissa the struggling defenders will have to face off against a striker who has speed and strength, while also being a natural in front of goal and boasting excellent link-up play.
On one Wissa goal last season, Frank said to club media: “Fantastic magic. A really well-taken goal by Wissa and a good ball from Bryan [Mbeumo]. I’m so happy that Wissa scored two. He has been on the up for a while and I’m pleased with his performance.”
After a 12-goal Premier League campaign last season, Wissa started this season with three goals and an assist in just four games.
Wissa will prove a nightmare for the United defence if they are not on top form – a major challenge.
