WSOP: Dyan Linde wins Domestic bracelet, Simone Andrian ships WSOP Europe Main Event

Anytime KidPoker goes deep in a WSOP, there’s chance that Daniel Negreanu takes a step closer toward winning another bracelet. Negreanu ended a lengthy drought this summer when he won the 2024 WSOP $50,000 Poker Players Championship. It was nearly 16 years in between victories for his sixth and seventh bracelet. He came close to bracelet #8 and a second one in three-plus months in 2024 in a WSOP Online Domestic event.

Th WSOP Online Domestic included players in Nevada, New Jersey, and Michigan. Negreanu was the big stack in Event #9 $500 PLO 6-Max at WSOP Online. He had tweeted that he was the chip leader with 100 players to go, the chip leader with 50 to go, and the chip leader with 10 remaining. Alas, it was not meant to be and Negreanu hit the virtual rail in sixth place for $6,125.62. Instead, Matthew ‘The_founder’ Davis shipped the bracelet.

Early bracelet winners so far include Paul Scaturro, Sandeep Mathai, Tyler Hirschfeld, Joshua Remitio, Anthony Huntsman, Dylan Linde, and David Alta. Severa noteworthy players went deep but missed winning an online bracelet including Ben Yu, Tony Dunst, Brent Roberts, Brett Halladay and David Funkhouser.

The 2024 WSOP Europe at the King‘s Casino in RozVegas is finally in the books with another successful series. With 15 events on the schedule, the WSOP doled out 15 more pieces of hardware. In the last two events,

Zewei Ding took down Event #14 €1,000 NLHE Turbo Freezeout, and Marius Schneider snagged his first bracelet with a victory in WSOP Europe Event #15 €550 Closer at King’s Resort.

The 2024 WSOP Europe Main Event had a buy-in worth €10,350 and it attracted 768 runners and a prize pool worth €7,219,200. The top 116 players paid out. Among the noteables who went deep and cashed included… Fabian Gumz, Anson Tang, Shaun Deeb, Niklas Astedt, Dietrich Fast, David Dongwoo Ko, Viktor Blom, Lukas Pazma, Martin Zamani, Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Thomas Eychenne, Fabio Peluso, Ran Koller, Roman Hrabec, Stanislav Zegal, Alessandro Pichierri, Sebastian Langrock, and Fabian Gumz.

The WSOPEurope Main Event final table included Simone Andrian, Urmo Velvelt, Ran Ilani, Mariusz Golinski, David Hochheim, Enrico Camosci, Robin Berggren, and Luka Bojovic. Andrian edged out Velvelt in a heads-up battle to win the bling and €1.3 million in cash.

Andrian joins an exclusive list of WSOP Europe Main Event champions including Annette Obrestad, John Juanda, Barry Shulman, James Bord, Elio Fox, Phil Hellmuth, Adrian Mateos, Kevin MacPhee, Marti Roca de Torres, Jack Sinclair, Alexandros Kolonias, Josef Gulas, Omar Eljach, and Max Neugebauer.

And earlier in the month, Spanish pro Sergio Adio shipped the 2024 WSOP Online International GGMillion$. The $10,300 buy-in event at GGPoker attracted 1,433 runners and a prize pool worth $14.3 million, which exceeded the $10 million guaranteed prize pool. Aido took down the marquee event for a score worth nearly $1.94 million, and he also secured his second bracelet.
