Taylor Dayne will headline the Pink Aid annual gala on Oct. 9 at The Paramount in Huntington. The event aims to raise more than $1 million for underserved breast cancer patients.

Pink Aid is a national organization that provides support and rapid emergency financial assistance to those in need. The event marks the organization’s 11th year.

In addition to Dayne, this year’s program will include a fashion show by Mitchells, along with a “Celebration of Life” fashion show where “warriors” from the community will walk the runway with their friends and family who supported them through their breast cancer journey.

Dayne will also share her insights about preventative measures and the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer. Her advocacy work in raising awareness is rooted to her personal experience with colon cancer.

“Every year, this event is a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of those affected by breast cancer,” Janine Mullen, co-president of Pink Aid, said in a news release.

“The gala not only raises crucial funds to support patients and their families but also celebrates the incredible courage of the warriors in our community,” she added.

Dayne gained fame from her Billboard Top 100 hits “Tell It To My Heart,” “Love Will Lead You Back,” and her recent chart-topping remix with DJ trio Cash Cash.
