The last days of Milan Fashion Week were filled with back to back shows and presentations – slightly disrupted by a public transport strike on Thursday – that showcased the best in Italian craftsmanship and design.
Tod’s kicked off day four with a lovely morning show filled with desirable bags, luxurious leather separates and two Grecian-inspired gowns that are red carpet material.

The Gucci show, held on the same day, had a star-studded front row. Ambassadors Dakota Johnson, Jannik Sinner, Jin from BTS and more showed up to check out creative director Sabato De Sarno’s latest collection for the house.
The label has been trying to gain momentum after a change in direction following the departure of Alessandro Michele two years ago. The spring/summer 2025 collection started in a subdued manner – a series of monochrome and menswear-inspired looks – but quickly picked up the pace.
Beaded fringed looks, a horsebit and GG monogram pattern on bright summer-ready outfits, lingerie-inspired lace dresses and 60s silhouettes brought to life what De Sarno referred to as “casual grandeur” in the show notes.
Those looks injected a dose of energy into a show that also incorporated some of De Sarno’s signatures, such as the oxblood red “rosso ancora” that has become a house trademark.
