Delta plans a “record” summer 2025 transatlantic expansion with seven new routes and additional service to existing destinations, the carrier announced Friday.
Several of the new routes, which are planned to launch in May 2025, include locales in Italy. Those include four-times weekly service between Boston and Milan, four-times weekly flights between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Rome, four-times weekly service between Atlanta and Naples, and daily service between New York (John F. Kennedy International Airport) and Catania in Sicily.
Other new routes launching in May include four-times weekly service between Detroit and Dublin, three-times weekly flights between Atlanta and Brussels, and three-times weekly flights between Boston and Barcelona.Â
Delta plans to expand service between Atlanta and each Athens, Greece, Rome, Barcelona and Zurich; and between Detroit and Munich.
In all, Delta plans to operate more than 700 weekly flights to 33 European destinations, according to the carrier.
