Today sees the start of Event #93: $777 Lucky 7’s No-Limit Hold’em (7-Handed) here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
This three-day event, which features three Day 1 flights, gets underway at 10 a.m. local time, with late registration open for 12 levels (~5 p.m.). This event allows for unlimited reentries per flight. There will be 20-minute breaks every four levels, with a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 16 (~7:00 p.m.)
The starting stack is 40,000 chips, with the plan for all Day 1’s to play 22 30-minute levels. For the surviving players, Day 2 begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, and levels increase to 40 minutes. A champion will be crowned on July 17.
Last year’s event saw a field of 7,323 entries generate a prize pool of $5,007,175. The winner was Shawn Daniels who defeated Julien Montois heads-up to win $777,777 and his first WSOP bracelet.
