SUNNY SATURDAY: Dry weather continues across Alabama today; with ample sunshine we project a high in the low 90s this afternoon.
Tomorrow will be the hottest day so far this year with highs in the mid 90s in many areas. Much of the day will be dry, but scattered showers and storms are possible over the northern counties of the state by late afternoon as a front approaches.
A few showers and storms are possible tomorrow night into Monday, followed by another dry airmass Tuesday and Wednesday. These two days will be dry with lower humidity and cooler nights.
A chance of scattered showers will likely return by Thursday and Friday as moisture levels increase. We expect highs in the mid 80s Monday and Tuesday, followed by low 90s over the latter half of the week.
