Orbe expressed his gratitude to the support given to the NETDC by the lawmaker.

Maniquiz cited this as a good example of how the national government and the local government should support each other.

She also thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., National Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, House Speaker Martin Romualdez and Rep. Yeddah Marie of Tingog Partylist for their contributions.

Maniquiz said her office received additional funding for other proposed projects inside the NETDC including the construction of the headquarters for the naval education training worth P50 million, a three-story barracks worth P50 million, and a boot camp worth P60 million.

Maniquiz also led the inauguration of the farm-to-market road (FMR) that spans from Barangay Bangan to Barangay Capayawan in Botolan on Friday.

The 964-meter long road will give the residents an easier way to transport their agricultural products to the market, she said.

She also led the inauguration of a 364-meter FMR road in Sitio Canian in the town of Cabangan and another 854-meter concrete road in the town of San Felipe.
